I am selling a complete adjustable belt drive cam kit for a Classic Mini, with Alloy housing.
A full kit to convert your timing gears to a belt driven type to restore power loss caused by original timing gear wear and stretching. Also helps reduce noise associated with valve train and dampen out certain harmonic noises generated by the 3 main bearing A series engine. Also preserves exact timing where anything over 2 degrees out causes power loss
The unit is in excellent conditrion.I have included brand new seals ( 1 small, 1 large), a brand new belt, and main gasket. ( all purchased from Mini Spares centre - receipts for £20 )
All you will need is the original bolts that hold your current cam kit on to the Mini, THESE KITS SELL FOR OVER £180 NEW.
The unit has covered 3200 miles in my road going 8 Port Mini and has been superb. The alloy housing has been highly polished. I was intending to use this on my latest engine build, but it is now surplus to requirements.
