my only concern would be that fuel filter, is it ok to withstand injection pump pressures?

Sure did re-weld the intercooler. A mate works for BOC welding so does top quality aluminium welding.

That filter is only gonna be there for the first 500 miles or so. Jus cos all the pipes are new and dont want any muck in the regulator. Got another one under the back.

ahhh, well make sure you have a fire extinguisher handy, would be tragic to undo all your hard work over a popped filter
