No, In the block, directly above the main bearing housing. The hole is about 3cm x 2.5cm in the web between the base of cylinders 2&3 and the top of the main bearing housing.

That deffinatley a 1275 gt block, i have 2 of those in my collection of blocks! 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Well, it could be an Allegro /1300/ 1300GT block as well. Not easy to tell whether it's a 1275GT one.
