looking at lightening my mini a bit, and need to decide between carbon fibre and fibreglass.
the carbon wouldn't show the weave anyway, so no advantage on looks.

carbon bonnet: £72.45
carbon bootlid: £61.95

fibreglass bonnet: £52.50
fibreglass bootlid: £52.50

what is the difference in weight and durability? is carbon worth the bit extra?

cheers, aml

Hi, I would go for the fibreglass, you wont really notice the difference, but you will save some cash.

The only reason i would go for carbon is if it was on a special offer (so the same price as the fibreglass) or you wanted the weave look.

No difference is weight, but I find carbon a bit easier to work with (being thinner you can bend it more)
