a friend of mine has a carbon fibre sprint shell with several carbon boot lids, fibreglass bonnet and wings and i think he has fibreglass doors.

the shell has never been used and still needs to have the windows cut out. its carbon finish on the inside and blue gell coat on the outside. does not have gutters or seams.

important bit... IT WILL NEED A FULL CUSTOM CAGE that mounts to the subframes, the bulkhead crossmember in the engine bay does not exist so there is not much to hold the subframe with out a cage.

as i said he is only thinking about selling as he has too many projects, too little money and this will cost a bit to sort.

please let me know if you are interested with some idea of how much you would consider to be a fair price.

we have no idea how heavy it is, but it can be picked up by one person, so collection is not a problem. it is currently located in Surrey.

I have no idea how you'd make it into a road-going car..

Perhaps if you post some pictures of it so people can see the quality of the moulding etc. Especially around the mounting points for subframes etc.

Check out the (slow) progress at.......

As Mike says sounds interesting, just can't afford / justify another car.
