just llike to add chaps i sufferd with the above

and increased the caster to 9 deg as from the standard 3 this help matters big time.......

it has not totall eliminated this but its a diffrent car....

Carl, Just found the spreadsheet...

Keeping the short (25mm OD) shaft the same - which has 0.92 degrees of twist for the details above, increaseing the OD of the longer shaft gives the followign results:

28mm = 0.7 degree
27mm = 0.81 degree
26mm = 0.95 degree

26.2mm gives the answer you're after...
