Shouldnt really have any oil consumption with an engine thats in good nick.

Havent heard of one of those but dont see why ones needed, seems a waste of money *smiley* probably totally wrong but ive never had comsumption problems on a mini.

It reduces air pressure so stops oil going past piston rings

just wondering if it was any good because I read about it in Vizard's engine tuning book and he seemed to like it. It probably wouldn't take up much room also become it's only a few hoses.

i reckon vizard mentions it due to the 'race' orientation of the engines he is building/recommending, if the engine is spending alot of time revving at high rpm then one of these advanced breather systems would be worthwhile (i think i'm right in what i'm saying)

i'm just going to make sure there are no restrictions in the breather system, and make sure the rocker cover can breath as well.

Second thoughts on the evacupan, i bet race cars can't run them as it would dump oil out the exhaust which would be a big no no!!

vizard also wrote that book when the turbo engine was being launched in the metro...
