I;m about to buy megajolt for my turbo project, anyone who currently uses this setup, which is the best to buy, the tps version or the map version?

kool thanks guys, the only difference i notice is that is has a vaccum pressure sensor for the manifold. which i guess will be very usefull for running a turbo application.

yeh, so it will give you/allow you to make adjustments under boost rather than at set throttle point. as (as you no doubt know) boost is also dependent on load.

hope im correct in my thinking here on why MAP is better? if not please correct me!

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

me too *happy*

but yeah, map for a boosted car is the way to go. just if you have lairy cams on a NA then TPS is apparently better to smooth things out

as said...

even with lairy cams you can link ports together, run resitictors and all sorts and get a lovely signal.

TPS is great, but not on its own.

So, reading this. For an n/a application would tps be the best bet and then convert it to map when I go turbo.

I need to get on and start ordering bits.

does anything else need to be taken into consideration?

Cheers

Nope, MAP is best in all cases. Sometimes it is difficult to get a good map signal on NA, but it can usualy be done.
