Hi

I am part of the website a-serious.com, we are a internet based club for all a-series vehicled owners.

We've made contact with Ace Cafe and organised a meeting on the 5th January 2008. I was wondering if turbo miniswould like to partake in a joint venture to promote and participate in the event?

The organisation isn't going to cost anything for the clubs, essentially its just the loan of their carpark and they get their money by us eating and drinking there.

If you think the turbo minis would be interested, then please let me know, and I can let you have a few more details.

we have approached some other mini clubs and clubs from other a-series engined vehicles. . hopefully all this will get us a geat big car park full of classic cars!

but the ace cath monthly meet is on the 3rd anyway so why not just do one biggerone ?

because we want more then just minis, being more then just a mini club. hence having some minors etc turning up to the mini meet wouldnt go down too well.

i doubt it, minors would be more welcomed than bini's in my opinion,but il still come any way...

i wish i could go fooking leg cars nearly back on the road as well, just need to check the clutch is aligned then its all back in once i can walk again (16th of jan hopefully)

details on route/convoys:-

it will start at the M40 southbound warwick services at 1:30pm making its way southbound on the M40 to banbury. coming off the banbury junction and meeting the people there at the frankie and benys car park at 2pm. from banbury we will go to the oxford services, we will arrive there around 2:30pm. after leaving the oxford services on the M40 its a straight run down the M40 until it finishes. the M40 leads onto the a40 then we go onto the a406. but i will have sat nav and no doubt many others will aswell. i really want one person at the front who has sat nav, one in the middle and one at the back. just incase people get split up etc. we are leaving so early to allow for traffic and breakdowns/fuel stops etc etc. better to be safe then sorry! :p
