I recently obbtained an original sykes picavant hydraulic flywheel puller in its original steel box,

the main puller parts seem obvious enough, but there are what appear to be 2 peices of metal the same shape as a crank tail, both stamped 1100. I suspect that these are to align the clutch plate in the flywheel.

can any one confirm this?

Might be to slide the oil seal over the primary gear.
