Started to think about tyres for the clubby, I've got a few ideas for the dry, but I'm not so sure about wets, any suggestions?

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

iv got 10 inch A008's on the rally car...there very slippy really. when it comes onto cam about 3k rpm they slip in 1st allways and a bit in 2nd when its downpoured...petrol station areas just spins when a fly hovers over the accelerator pedal
cant imagin what its like with the turbo going

They're purely for track use, not sure about size, I'll have to get the wheels anyway, is there anything to be gain for going for 10s over 13s or vice-versa?

I definitely won't be going for A008s, I've got them on my road car and whilst I like them in the dry they aren't great in the wet.

id think the heavier wheels of 13s might be better, less likly to spin away perhaps

and id agree abotu the 008's there nice in the dry

how legal ifor road use s it getting tyres cut for extra groves? more area for rain water to track into

Dont start the 10 vs 13's debate.

Think as a rule A032 for 10's and A048's for 13's

Other than that miglia slicks wets and dry if on track.

Unless you are planning on slicks for the dry why have two different sets of tyres?

What people forget is that a slick will work best until ther is standing water. Most people are amazed we still use slicks when we do.

So I reckon the Advan type tyre will be suitable for both conditions.

You'll get more improvement out of disconnecting any ARBs and sofening the shocks.

so true!

on my road car i have on shock (pass fr) that the adjuster has stuck, making this corner a bit harder, spins up much easier.
