If you ever decide to swap out the engine, let me know, I would be interested and fit it in the wifes Seat Arosa. I wonder if she would notice, lol.

I dont like those wheels though, Would look better if the rims were bigger

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

i have to say the wheels arent my cup of tea either but they look 'ok' when you see them in the flesh so to speak.

there the same size as the standard rims 15's but it is on coilovers so i will be 'dubbin in the summer!! lol.

its got a bit of history aswell, i bought it from the publisher of track and race car and it was one of there long term test cars.

very nice. i like these and the polo gti's. Ronal turbs would be a good choice, how about some old porsche wheels such as 928's 944's etc all polished up (with hub converters) would look awesome.

That looks smart. Always quite liked these. I wouldn't go for ronal turbo's though. get a nice set of deepdish BBS RS split rims if funds allow. Anything with a dish and stretched tyre is normally good on these tho.lol

Nice would have one of these if my new car budget stretched to it. But as i want to keep the mini i have no choice! Lovely motors though, as for wheels, porsche teledials with hub converters will look awesome.

don't listen to them Andy,

find a set of std rims, punt the alloys out and spend the money on the min!

just think of all the extra stuff you'll be able to get done with a modern reliable daily driver that won't need constant "attention"

your right and tbh i really like the look of them slammed on the standard rims.

thats exactly why i wanted the newer car, once im over the initial excitment i will be to concentrate on the mini and pick parts up from all over the place if need be.

oh and it does sound really raw over 5500rmp.

I like lupos, they look like they could be loads of fun! Must handle well surely?

As for wheels, Ronal Turbos over BBS any day, BBS RS's are nice but so commons its boring. I think you can just about get away with Ronal's on any car as they look wiked (I think anyway!)

ATS classics are cool:
