Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Its done approx 110k, always had everything done thats been needed and has covered approx 25k in the last 3years owned by my folks.
its metallic green, cd player, AC, alloys, twin electrics and towbar.

Previous owner was a company so i think its just 2 or 3 owners, and has full service history although maybe not all volvo.

the only reason they are getting rid is because they have been left an 03plate legacy 2.5 thats hardly been used so are looking to get rid of the V40. no other reason. if i hadnt got an estate i would be having it for towing the mini.

I'm reckoning its worth around £2000. i looked on autotrader but there were only 3 diesels in the whole country. This would be certainly one of the cheapest.

for one with 60k on parkers say around 3.5k

I'll get some pics up but overall in good condition, interior is nice but i think it has maybe a mark or two on the bumpers.

The only thing that wants doing is it needs the wheels balancing as it has a bit of a vibration at 70mph at the steering wheel, could also be tracking i guess. but thats it.

any pics ? i would swap my fully loaded 850 T5 estate 225 bhp 155 mph killer ?

petrol costs are crusifying me as i drive lots of miles.

only 1 previous lady owner, full volvo service history tow bar. GLT spec, full winter pack

has a few scuffs n scrapes but still goes like a rocketship

the old shape v40's are hard to shift they were never a popular car, hence asap volvo intoduced the V50 2.0 D5 series, you can pick those up on 03 plates from 4K and thats ure competition bud.

where as the v70's and 850 estates always sell *wink*

(check out me sales angle folks)

i think there may be some pics on here of it somewhere
mine has 7 mnths test and will be re taxed in feb. has had new discs, new rear shocks and mounts, new control arms on the front, new track rod ends and a new 850r exhaust system. has the roof rails, and i have the mounting kit for the tailgate spoiler (i got shafted on ebay and the spoiler never came :( )

No offence taken, i am only going on what i have seen on the net. the TD's seem to be a rare breed thats all. *smiley*

i honestly dont know what its worth and it has to find a home at some point.

it has to go as there is already a new car on its way within a few days so no swaps.

*smiley*
