it might be me being stupid but everyone seems to have lots of diffrent ways of cooling their turbod minis with a mixture of intercoolers and rads but as i have to fit a cooling system to mine yet i was wondering noone has said anything about using the standard metro turbo rad front mounted on a mini it worked on the metro so why not on the mini, also the same question but with the fuel pump why dont people seem to use the metro one , cheers.

you can use metro cooling system, if you can fit it in.

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

oh and lots of people do use the metro(turbo) fuel pump but other high presure ones are sometimes easier or cheaper to source.

have a read around the intercoolers are used to cool the air not the engine.

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Yup. i use the metro rad and the metro pump. In fact both actually came directly off a metro, not new shiney bits! ha ha! (although the rad is being changed this winter!)

Some people use an SPi or MPi fuel tank with built in pump just cause it has a take off for a return already but other than that most do use the metro pump actually.

Think the normal metro turbo rad has inlet and outlet on different ends but i think a lot of people get the mk1 metro rad as both pipes are at the same end making a nicer instalation.

All the rads on skoda's I have seen (LOTS) all have them on different sides.

also the rads are pretty large to, i'd be suprised if they'd fit.

yup, and the turbo and standard rads are exactly the same. So dont be fooled into paying for a 'turbo' rad. They do however come in ally and copper versions.
