Had my backplate machined as the clutch plate face was abit knackered. Want to check the dimension between the clutch face & the top of the 3 mounting lugs to make sure clutch doesn't slip.

as standard they're 24.8mm according to the one I just measured.

but as yous is a race lump it may have been altered to get the spring near flat like in figure 4 in this link.

Mines exactly 25.0mm. The flywheels been machined too. Thinking of getting abit taken off the lugs if that makes sense.

mmm,

may need a bit shaved off.

I know TD hase a measurement (can't remember what it is though) that gives a flatish spring for a std plate and a grey pressure plate, but your paddle plate may be a different thickness.

best bet is to pop it together and see what the spring looks like as its only 3 bolts (you only need the drive straps fixed at one end to check this)
