thursday, got the mini legal finally, mot, insured, free tax (they hate it in the post office when you get a free tax lol!)

took it to be set up at hitech, got 94bhp at the wheels and a boatload of torque, woohoo thinks me!

on way home, gave it some boot in 1st, then 2nd, just about to grab 3rd BANG! rattle rattle rattle rattle, oh dear says i (in more colourfull and unrepeatable language) pulls over, lifts bonnet, bloody bottom crank pulley had fell off! lol, never had that before

still at least it did no damage, just came back with my tools later and fixed it at the side of the road

consider yourself extreme lucky, could be much worse.

94bhp thats more than me you bugger!!! only kiddin well done and im glad the bang werent a seriouse one

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

whats the spec ?

spec? stg 2 head, avonbar 8psi actuator set with 5mm preload as reccomended, 2" single box exhaust, rest is standard metro turbo, did only have 60.000 miles on when i bought it and its been looked after, got to admit its made more than i thought, 94 at the fly maybe i could have believed!

not having any luck though, been out in it tonight and come back on the end of a rope, clutch has gone

beggining to really hate this car!

just keep going mate, i am on my second engine and gearbox, new clutch , all new brakes, suspension, the list goes on. the car has cost me a fortune.
and i've only had it about a year and a half!
