Ive done a search but not got anything specific.

What are people using ???

I would need it to crank the motor and run a few electrics.

Dont want to have a separate battery if poss as it may be used on the road sometimes, unless there is an advantage for one or other.

Thanks Rick

really, you're only using a 15 jim? We use 15s on the historic f1s at work. It will only just start them without a jump battery! I would say a 30 would be more suitable if you plan on using it on the road occasionally.

you must use an alternater or you will soon run out of volts,[or amps]

I use an alternator, I can run fuel pump, water pump, injectors, boost soloniods, and lights, and ecu without problems. While running at pod, I must have started my engine over 20 times in the day, never had battery problems, but I do have an alternator.

Ive used a 15 for about 4 years. No problems at all, its never gone flat even when I leave it connected all winter with no use. I use it on the road and strip.

paul

I seriously doubt it!
