really, you're only using a 15 jim? We use 15s on the historic f1s at work. It will only just start them without a jump battery! I would say a 30 would be more suitable if you plan on using it on the road occasionally. |

you must use an alternater or you will soon run out of volts,[or amps]

yes and you must NOT boost charge these battery it will damge them 1293 Turbo mini

charging by alternator is fine 1293 Turbo mini

I use an alternator, I can run fuel pump, water pump, injectors, boost soloniods, and lights, and ecu without problems. While running at pod, I must have started my engine over 20 times in the day, never had battery problems, but I do have an alternator. On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

Ive used a 15 for about 4 years. No problems at all, its never gone flat even when I leave it connected all winter with no use. I use it on the road and strip.
I seriously doubt it! |
