Hey guys.

Last weekend the Mini Club here in LA, of which I'm the Prez, had it's Annual Bonzai run through the canyons along the coast of Malibu called the Turkey Run. This is no parade run or leisurely tour of the countryside! This is a balls-to-the-wall, tire squealing, brake fluid boiling, speed limit shattering drive down some extremely narrow country/canyon roads. Some of the roads had no safety barriers protecting us from 2000 ft sheer drop offs. The fearless, numbering at about 55 this year included about 70% Mini's and 30% MINI's (and one 07 Sti scoobie). As usual, there was some carnage...as you will see in the video. Check it out!

We give an in depth meeting and warning about how dangerous this run can be. But regardless, someone always crashes. Luckily the driver of this Mini was unharmed. And thank goodness everyone signs a liability waiver before they set off on the run!

I liked the music, despite that I really dislike Nickelback. :)

That greyish Mini was fucking horrible!

I hate Nickleback as well. But the song works well with the vid.

That grey mini with the huge wheel flares is a VTEC powered car. It has a B18C5 and put 200hp to the wheels the last time it was dyno'd. The customization bit, well, horses for courses. But as we are noticing with these VTEC cars (I think we have 5 or 6 in the club), they may have a lot of hp, but the they don't handle well. They can't keep up in the corners!

Exactly. Put a sorted A-series turbo up front and you'd kill them *wink*

Agreed! I'm working on it. It just takes time when you are only willing to buy parts with cash and not willing to put purchases on a credit card.
