I was up in the loft looking for something and tripped over something I forgot I had.

It's a blow through downdraft Weber 30/32 DMTR, its all complete with "power cap" as the Vaux boys call them these days! (small plenum lamped to mouth of carb) and came off a Lancia Y10 Turbo (I bought the top end when I needed a turbo for the charade turbo I was smoking around in a good number of years back and couldn't find another for the charade for anything.lol!)

So if someone fancies making a more unusual carb turbo conversion this may be just the ticket - the carb is sitting on the Lancia manifold so could donate its flange mounting if necessary.

If Carling made Mini engines
it would probably be like this one!

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Not acording to Visard, the downdraght weber manifold is actualy quite good. One reason why the SPi manifold looks very similar

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

when it comes to forced induction and blowing through manifolds....

Dont get upset by what is normally a crap manifold. Nice free flowing is usually preferred. But if it isnt...it doesnt always hurt performance..... .

I have a downdraft Weber with a hat. That one looks pretty rough. Hats are readily available in the US from Pierce manifolds, as are the manifolds and carburetors.

That hat is way taller than mine.
