Hi to all,

Thought i best introduce my self, Ive been a member for a few months now.

Im Matt and I live in Chesterfield and went to uni to do Car Design. I'm currently working in Sheffield as a Design Draughtsman, so now im earning I can afford to treat myself to a Turbo project!!

I had a 1976 Mini Cooper S lookalike as my first car and was running it for 7 years until the shell finally went rotton beond repair, which was 2 years ago I'm currently driving a Rover BRM which is ok but I miss my Mini, it was my pride and joy!!

The Mini I had was featured in Mini World May 2001, started life as a brush painted JCB yellow 998 shitter, and ended up as a Tartan red 2 and black roof, 1275 (62 BHP, 76 lbft torque) Which was pretty quick.

My dream ever since I was younger was to have a Mini with a Dump Valve!! now I have my donor engine Ive got big plans, my plan is to do it over a couple of years so I can get top parts when I can afford them.
