Its pictured with floor and engine cover off.

Cable ties are standard fitment. Good quality ones thats use a metal tang rather than plastic rachet mechanism.

Car arrived with us with running engine but no way to control the gear change which was software controled via the hydraulics . You dont tend to gety ECU and GCU with these cars. The ECU was made by GEMS specifically for it as you cant buy ECU's that will run 10 cylinders at 18k rpm. Not to mention the other bits it does.

It now uses an electro mechanical system to ghange the gear and rev the engine as required. The gear change is initiated from the original steering wheel. The driver requests the gear and the software controls it all. It can rev the engine, slow it via spark cut to match gear speed. All the shaft speeds are monitored so it knows exactly when to pop the gear in. All takes about a 1/2 second.

Its a lovely bit of kit, didn't want to give it back.

Looks nice rich, glad thats been kept in the original colours unlike those rebranded Bennetons that Klaus Zwart has.

Love the arrows of this era and you can buy loads of spares off Ebay!! Those asiatech motors can't be too easy to get hold of i would have thought.

Hi Ant,

Glad you like. Had reel fun and games with this. It had shared engine and gearbox oil (aka mini !! lol). Never worked well and caused many a blow up. Now runs seperate systems.

No problems on the engine supply front. When Asiatech shut down my customer pretty much bought what was left at auction. We have enough for 15 runners and spares. So if anyone fancies one for a rear engine mini get in touch !!! lol

Oh sorry wrong on the silver one, you'll have to guess again !! lol

Is that the same model Arrows that Super Aguri used???
Looks good seeing in bare. :)
Is the silver one a Red Bull? Looks like Adrian Newy derived side pods.

Milamber, yes pretty much. Aguri used a 22 tub, 23 gearbox (7 speed version of this one) if memory serves me right.

The silver one is actually a show car we made in house. Its just our generalised vision of a modern f1.

Thats why i didn't get it. It has almost mclaren rear bodywork and front wings. The lack of horns lost me though! It looks nice and to normal punters slap some paint on it and it could be any modern f1 car!. We have a lot of work on too. Will try and get some pics in response to this post! *happy*
Still f1s just a little earlier than those!
