the 3 sync one does not have a syncronised 1st gear. Parts are generally different |

So you just use your original 1st gear??

the 3 sync boxes where only used up till late 60ies. You do not have a syncro ring at first gear at all. They only ever was fitted to remote boxes. |

no mike it is a non syncro first, or a crash box, crunch crunchy into first untill you get the knack,

The ratios on the Clubman and ST kit are very similar to the 3sync ST-kit. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

Not worth it. Get a ST or Clubman kit. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

ST is the kit that minispares sells that also contains the 1st gear and reverse. It has one more bearing in the laygear too. |
