Just a quicky, does the needle just pull off the std speedo/tacho?

Really dont want to force it, but it seems to be well attached..?

Indeed you can just pull it off, but make sure to put the needle back on at exactly the same position (especially on the speedo since it is spring loaded), otherwise your readings will be false. ie : mark the position of the spring before taking the needle off)
