Just a quicky, does the needle just pull off the std speedo/tacho?

Yes it does, even I managed to do it without busting anything.

Indeed you can just pull it off, but make sure to put the needle back on at exactly the same position (especially on the speedo since it is spring loaded), otherwise your readings will be false. ie : mark the position of the spring before taking the needle off) |
