Does anyone have a Cooper S rod handy? They are the large bore rods with the 1.625" OD big ends.

When using cooper s rods in a small bore engine, you need to face off the big and little ends, little end also needs bushing for floating pins. You assemble them through the engine, so you install the rod from the bottom and assemble the piston from the top. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

As far as I know, you can get them down. Popular mod in Miglia engines in the past (998) On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
