A mate of mine is selling his Mill and lathe.

Mill:

Archdale 18" Vertical mill
INT 30 Chuck
5Ft bed
Mill is imperial but has a digital readout in met/imp
converted to single phase 3HP
Good condition

£850
£950 with rotary table

Lathe:

Churchill Cub
6" centre height
24" between centres
3 jaw chuck
Coolant
Single phase
Imp/Met
Comes with some tooling
good condition

I don't know much about these myself although I have used them to do my K conversion, and I would of had them myself if he was selling in a few months!

He kept the lathe but ended up scrapping the Mill as he couldn't get a buyer! Criminal I know but he got a moving date to move house and had to get rid!

I know, I would of had it but had no way of transporting it and untill I sort out buying my own place no where to store it!

Try searching your local colleges selling machinery. They're normally virtually unused compared to a lathe or mill in a production environment and usually reasonably priced too, form what ive seen.
