Hi,
I've owned actual Minis in the past but for the last 30 years or so I have driven various Kit cars most, but not all based on Mini donors.
In order:-

A Mk III Mini Marcos which I modified for racing.



When I finally sold this car it ended up being bought by the current Marcos company and was used as their demonstrator for 'their' Mk VI GT version.



Then a Mk IV Mini Marcos which I used when I finally took the racer off the road to tune it further.



Next came a Hustler Force 4. This was the last of the Hustler line and had proper opening doors rather than sliding windows. Apparently only 4 were made.



My current car is a GTM Coupe.



I made a completely new GRP chassis to replace the steel one



made my own tubular subframes



and redesigned the suspension to use pushrods and inboard coil overs.



I'm now looking to change from the HIF44 carb to injection using BMW motorcycle throttle bodies



and a Megasquirt ECU.

This forum seems to be the best place to find information on the Megasquirt set up so here I am.
