Hello all.

Stripping my turbo engine down today, I noticed the bottom drain hose wasnt looking the best. Infact at first sight, it looked like garden hose pipe.

I was wondering if anyone had replaced this? Where did you get the part etc?

I was thinking about getting some of that hard walled blue silicon pipe with a bend in and cutting it down to size. I think it if I fit it to the turbo 1st and then push it on the block end when fitting the turbo, it should go on OK. as those pipes dont have much flex.

Ideas?

Thanks

Jordie

Avonbar do the hose about £15 or so...

The hose isn't just made of "normal" silicone its got a ply in the inside that has a resistance to oil and won't break down.

TBH I think you'd struggle to bend a straight bit of hose without kinking it. Its a reallt tight bend!

The hose thats on had abit of a kink in it. £15 is rediculous for that size and shape of hose.

This turbo me-larky aint cheap.
