just changed my fuel regulator,running smoother but now my tickover is at 2000rpm,where is the adjustment for this,

oh, check the choke 'fast idle' screw is set right, and not holding the revs up.

when you buy a new fuel regulator can you just throw it on (no need for adjustment)

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Id never throw it on. always adjust, the gauge costs about a tenner from gunson.

Or i think you could get away with using an old boost gauge.

Pleasse explain 'ticking over".
If I would connect the boost gauge to the fuel line all the time than don't i read fuel pressure related to the boost + 4psi? so at idling i will read fuel pressure and will be able to adjust it to the correct setting.
Thinking correct?

Yep, just set it at idle to 3.5 to 4psi

Ticking over as in the idle speed *smiley*
