Ive phoned around a few places but with no luck!

Any sheet metal place will let you have a piece.
Or buy a sheet from a stockist.

the metal supermarket, i think there are a few places round the uk, good prices, you can usually get the amound you need from their offcuts pile, cheap enough too!

Frost also sell sheet steel mail order, dont know thecosts though

Ive been getting my metal from ebay..lol

Some of it is over priced, but when you consider the time taken to drive to the metal supplier and they are usually only open during business hours (requiring time off work). Its quite convenient really.
