Thinking of coming out of my 6 year clubbing retirement. Ex raver from early 90's. The proper years of clubs some would like to say. The good days of Fantasia, MOS, United Dance, Sterns and various dives around Wandsworth/Brixton even Brunnels in Swindon many moons ago!
Comments any good clubs nowadays?

all the best proper techno nites i have been to lately have all been underground efforts. speakign from a glasogw perspecive and i assume its the same most over the uk, all this R&B shite has pushed all the good electronic music off the map. but its kind of a good thing as theres nothign quite like a good grimey shithole of a club. *happy*

Well im practicing me big fish little fish routine for summer partying.

If anyones lucky enough, i may even perform it at avon at the dodgy disco.

No "proper" clubs near me, all of them are actually in liverpool. Keep meaning to go.

tunnel is still going but i'll give you one guess what shite they play! even Archaos has closed, as it seemed to stand its ground against the trend towards R&B..

No real awesome places around me in Norwich. Used to love going to Oceana in Kingston, Surrey when i was at Uni but since then i seem to have turned into an old man, even teetotal now as well! Am now working with a funky house dj and hes been playing some of his sets that he recorded and they are a good mix of new and old but i really like the mid 90s piano house that was popular back then!

Jason,

Go to SE1 for a Raindance night!

Not a club as such, more of a rave festival, but it will be right up your alley!

Great atmosphere and music!

You will end up doing some class A's though.

It's been about 4 years since I last went out properly. We could have an old-timer night out.

Actually, best not, I nearly had a heart attack last time!

In the 13's at last!.. Just

one of the best was Die Hard in Liecester and was happy hardcore.

all from the 1990's

also Avon has had more than one dodgie disco, check by the main gate on the way in.
