I used the Corky Bell book when i was looking at superchargers at Uni, a useful book but quite technical. Covers everything though and would be a good starting point for you. Found it on amazon the full title is:

Supercharged: Design,Testing and Installation of Supercharger Systems: Design, Testing and Installation of Supercharger Systems

Can pick them up for about £15 if you don't mind a used one, or £25 full price.

I know a few people on here have his turbo book.

The best book I've read on supercharging is Automotive Turbocharging and Supercharging by John Humphreys. (haynes). It covers a lot of technical stuff which you don't get in other books. Kind of like vizard of the blowers.

The mapping stuff is very much worth a read when combined with the yellow bible.

Bugger off, I'm getting there.
