HI all, as sugested I've put some pictures up of my build. I started this build over 2 years ago and after finding this site have been inspired to take it up again.I apoligise firstly it's not turbo and it's old hat now but there are some differances for interest sake. First the cam spacers have counter boared set screws for cam attachement. This makes for a far stouter attachment unless the cast iron cams are tapped out to a larger size. to keep the compression up and for propper hole allignment a.020 copper head gasket was made. as the 3rd cam is on the load side of the cam belt a double roller bearing is used for friction and durability reasons. I coudn't see the need for a front engine plate so didn't make one.

i was just thinking about this abstactly the other day clubman , and i couldnt see the need for a front plate either ,unless theres a need to get oil down from the cam bearing to the main , but that oil at the cam can go out of the bearing the other way into the block .looks godd with that big double roller , i wonder if there is more wear on the normal plain bearing ,
Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM |
