anyone in the south of england ( hampshire area) that can reccomend anyone to respray a car.
i get paid next week and i think i am going to buy a mig so i can learn to use and sort out my bodyshell for less than paying someone else. this is what needs doing.
new wing,
new front panel,
new sills (mine has bloody oversills!)
weld up the roof.
then i am going to strip the car down to the bare essentials to keep it road legal and sand it down to bare metal.
hopefully this will save more money on a respray.
i am thinking pageant blue.
what do you guys reckon?
DAN :)

ok got an update for this, just popped in to a local place, does ?1000 for a full spray including strip down sound ok?
they said they'll reduce the price if i strip it down as much as possible before hand but i don't know by how much.
is that a good price?, it seems o.k to me.
that price is assuming the shell is not rotten.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Not too bad as long as its a good job!

Id check out some of their work first.

It easy to strip the car down for them to be able to spray, there is a lot of labour in that so should knock the price well down.
