This afternoon I was happily working away on the car when the misses got home from work. She popped her head round the garage door, looked at the car and said "So exactly what have you been doing out here for months, it looks just like it did when you got it."

I know it takes ages at the early stages of the build to make it look like progress, but there is no need for comments like that. Next time she gets ready to go out, and spends an hour or two putting on a frock and face I may have to return the compliment!

I'm happily very tolerant of Alex's tinkering and splashing of cash on cars, but even I got disheartened with the mini when it hadn't changed in 12 months when we first got it. At the time I was buying stuff for it too, so we both kept spending and it didn't change!

Don't get me wrong she is very tolerant, and as Wil points out id does not look much different for all effort I have put in.

well i think we have come to the conclusion that all women are related some were down the line.

but the do get better in some ways.

as the sex lessons, the " i cant be arsed to argue grows" so there is light in the end of the tunnel to any newly weds out there.

here is my true example.

many years ago the sex was great but needed at least 2 months notice to go fishing.

now hardly any sex but all iget now is " when are you going fishing again"

and in this weekends case study, i went in the boat today fishing and also going tomorrow as her indoors and the girls are of dancing in dagenham all day and night.

so if i play my cards right, fishing for cod allday tomoz and get back and head down the pub.


as the saying goes up here for thinking down there for dancing.
