Take the starter motor out and put a something in the teeth to stop the engine turning over. I also put it in gear a wedge the brake pedal down so less stress it put on the flywheel teeth.

i now use a 2 ft break bar on opposite side (crank damper bolt) ..easy peasy 150 NM solo with the block out of the car That sir, is not rust, it is the progressive mass reduction system
