I am getting mixed messages about these in that they may crack the floor. I have front solid mounts and rear solid mounts. The towers are currently rubber.

I've been told to run solid tower and front monts, but leave the rubber ones on the rear ! (Maybe it something to do with road noise being transfered) All MK1 & 2's where solid mounted, and I've never known any problems with them, I've lso had rubber mounted subframes with the solid mounts all round and I personally prefered the better feel and handling of the fully solid mounted style ! http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c248/spe...er1/mini007.jpg
