hi Guys, do the national mini owners club run the showdown at avon park?? I grabbed the below text from another forum:

"Had this emailed to me today, Not sure if any of you are members but sad news

I am sad to report to the sudden demise of the Mini Owners
Club. Chris and Trisha Cheal founded this club and have run it for 29
years. Sadly Trisha has recently become seriously ill and, in
consequence, has forced Chris to devote all his time to her care.
All Members have been sent a letter, explaining the situation and
offering refunds of subscription etc.
The main club show, held at Stanford Hall, will continue in 2008, with
the full backing and sponsership of MiniWorld magazine.
I am sure all members will join me in keeping
Chris and Trisha in our thoughts and thanking them for all the hard
work they have contributed to the Mini scene over the years "

National MOC was the first club i joined, and my mini was on some of the fliers they did back in the day...and Stanford National Day was the first mini show i ever went too.

Here for the craic..
