I've been offered another 998 lump but this one is an A-Series, which is good in some ways and it means I've got all the bit's for a pre-vertro clutch but I was wandering what other parts are interchangeable with the A+ engines as I'd like to use the best bits from the various 998s I acquired to build my turbo lump.

The A+ rods are better and the larger drop gear bearings, but other than that pretty much the same.

I've never seen a small bore A+ rod in the flesh, what's better? The fact that the rods are not fully floating *wink*

Yes, the dizzy is different, but it's just a matter of using the one belonging to the block.

Isnt the timing plate and casing different? One accepts a Tensioner one doesnt.
