I have a GT block, a A+ block coming and can get hold of an MPi block.

Which will be better for a BMW K Head with megajolt?

It might of been asked before, but with search button I cant find an answer.

Looking at 1330.

I just need a decent answer before work starts.

an mpi block , because of the filter arrangement, you'll have more space in front,
then a or a+ is a bit of discution,I will say that both are up to the job, for my part no A+ have disapointed me.
then Veg will say that 80 leyland stuff is sh-t, then another will talk about recent oil development have favorised a+ credibility, then another etc .. internet arguing
if you want to trust someone, keep in mind that kad prefer an A+ block to build their conversion, same with miglias, swiftune and many others

Correct me if i'm wrong, but with an mpi block, if you are using carbs, then you're going to have difficulties passing emissions tests when it comes to MOT time.

80ies Leyland stuff is shite!

Just had three blocks checked for main bearing honing. Which one needed it? The A+ on of course. Had to remove 0.03mm to get it within tolerances. It's junk, A+ sucks!

The thing is. If you're using a dizzy, stick with the A+ block for simplicity. You can modify the dizzy to suit but why??

What are you using for the injection?

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

also the holes in the A+ block Vegard mentioned was waaay to large compared to what it should be. So yes, A+ sucks! The GT block is nice and stiff, they do not have the hole above the center main, and it will be nice canditate. The deck is slightly thicker too, so you will have more threads engaged where you are drilling new holes, because you have to drill holes when doing this conversion right?

I am not sure on the injection at the moment, I am taking my time reading all the threads.

To save time it "might" be better to go with someone like Emerald and run the ignition and injection from the one ecu.
