need some opinions please guys, i know ill probably have to suck and see but thought id ask.

on my toyota starlet 1.3 turbo conversion i was planning on using one of the half size honda rads but it may not fit :( so i was thinking of using either a two core mini rad mounted forwards or a front mounted injection one.

do people think theyll be up to cooling my toyota engine?

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Only one way to see.

I think the problem with the mini setup was the water pump as Nic has been looking into.

Suppose someone on here can do an effiecieny calculation for it?

the mpi front mount may be up to the job, id rather use that than a regular mini rad

What about the cinquecento one? matty uses that and it doesnt look too bad or too big

just had a lokk on there website would probably be up to the job but will cost me 235 quid to find out:(

cant fit a full size front mounted rad in because the turbo is half an inch from the front, so was planning on the honda rad infront of the gearbox but not got enough space the mpi rad should fit nice but not sure if there upto the job but there so expensive.

hmmmm

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

a chento rad is a good option, they are about 60 quid new.

It is, plus problems with slow speed and traffic not allowing air cooling, plus speed bumps. But its still an option.

What about a Golf Mk2 rad? Seen them used on Mini7's.

Betwix Harrogate and York

From a heat capacity point of view the MS 2-core rad will be more than up to the job (considering what power you are expecting.

It'll look a bit weird stuck at the front though.
