Has anyone tryed to fit ford escort 1.8 diesel calipers to metro hubs was looking at it today . The calipers are vented type and would need grinded down to fit. But not by much. And they are 12' inch wheels im fitting so they should fit ok. going to messure it up and see what happens will Let yous knows

I'm stupid Ive A fiesta with most of the bits to make my megajolt thingy. Thick or what!!!! OHHHHH and ive got a metro for free !!!!! Metros have become rare over here!!!!!!!!!

Not when you have a set of scrapy 4 pots was just an idea as i already have them kicking about.

they are fitting well tho i need to get a wheel bearing and cv joint to get things lined up

10 out of 10 for trying something different

However I notice you are using Metro hubs, these cock up the geometry when fitted to a Mini big time and so you are better off using Mini hubs.

yes i heard about that but im gona to be using an Adjustable Camber Kit to over come that. prefered seal ball joints to no greasing to be done lazy me!!!! The pads have double the surface area that the four pots pads have. just some thing different to try

Up to you, but my advise would be to get proper Mini hubs. Even with the adjustable arms the handling with Metro hubs is not what it ought to be.

i dont, i love how my mini handles on metro hubs! mainly for the reduction in how severe the car pulled to one side if i lost traction on just one wheel. makes the car much more civilised.
