Are the throttle shaft seals on a hif44 different to thoughs on a hiff44 turbo carb, or are they reversed or something? I'm not sure if ive read this some where.

Same seals.
Reversed.

Basiclly, you want the outer to 'splay open' as boost pressure is forced outwards along the spindle, which then seals them.

Nat asp does the same thing, but wants to stop crap being dragged into the spindle under vacuum...

Thought 151 and 152 DCOE webers were sealed for blowthru anyway...

Mines an older one, ive a spare hif so i woundered if i could use though seals. I'll have to look. theyre no doulbt a different size. Otherwise I'll try and get some proper ones from a Weber place
