you'll need cooper s brakes (calipers, disks, flanges, bolts, hoses) to replace your 8.4" setup.

That's what the minimag journo who went in my mini (a shade more than 100hp) said about my S-Discs...

They're fine i reckon. Just need a strong leg with no servo.

Jon's got a couple of miles track experience to his name, probably more than the rest of us here combined (not incl Wil and Ben!) so he's best to answer the question...

i use the cooper s set up, havn't really noticed any difference from the 8.4 set up..i also run with no servo. ““A turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.”” - Jeremy Clarkson

Nought wrong with S brakes. Never had fade, loose the dust covers for better cooling, Don't use EBC pads(shite), rover standard unipart do the job fine for road/mild track. go for mintex race for full chat racing.

I'm running 'S' setup on Green stuff as well, and don't have any problems.
