Hello all.

Right, the turbo engine is in and on its engine mounts. Woooo i say. Then i realize, i haven't a clue where some of the pipes go. so here i am seeking your knowledge.

1)

Sorry for the bad pic. Its the turbo actuator. Theres a small pipe coming from it, which loops round to the top of it. At this point, there seems to be a T-piece and theres another pipe coming off it. Where does the other pipe go, its just hanging.

2)

Is this used for anything? I aren't running a servo, so was just gonna blank them both off, unless you can get blanking bolts to fit the manifold?

3)

Can anyone help on the above?

Red txt says - fuel pipes? inlet / outlet? which is which?
Blue txt says - pipe is blocked off, is it supposed to be.
Yellow txt says - this is the end of the pipe from #1 (coming from the T piece on the actuator)
green txt says - the pipe is connected to the inlet manifold. should it be and whats it for.

Cheers all
Jordie

If you search for a thread on this, there are various good diagrams/photos available.

1] The actuator should be connected to the compressor housing of the Turbo. If it's the Metro Turbo then there will be a brass fitting with two ends on it, join one to the actuator, the other can be blocked off, have a bleed valve connected to it, or is connected to the ECU if you're using this.

2] The servo connection can be removed if you're not using it & the manifold hole blanked off, or a connection for a boost gauge etc fitted.

3] Carb connections -

Cheers phil.

Is the compressor housing just above the actuator on the turbo? If so the pipe connects there and another piece comes off. if thats the right pipe, then i will just block the end as you said.

Thanks
