Quick answer needed lads please.
What size socket are the big castle nuts that retain the driveshafts?
Some dick on another forum told a mate of mine it was 1 5/16ths AF,so out I tottered and bought a 1 5/16ths socket.*angry*
This just was not my day*oh well*

there are 2 sizes for discs,

34mm and somthing else.... i think its 1 5/16" same as the the towerbolts anyway, try your socket on them to check.

It can't be 1 5/16" 13.It's waaaay too big.
I'm talking about the castle nuts that protrude through the wheel centers mate

BTW this is on drums.

THAT'S the one.
Hope to God the guy at the shop will exchange that bleedin socket.Cost me about 7 or 8 quid.
Or should I keep it for my Disc brakes?
