i read somwhere that it was a new set of blades on he turbine, if you can slow it down you can see one fall off, which throws off the balance of it which concequentally hits the base and explodes Drives

I think I read high winds/brake failure. Apparently there were technicians in it shortly before it went down but managed to scarper when it became apparent they weren't going to get it back under control. |

Wow. Yep you usually feather the blades at high wind speeds to stop or slow it down. Obviously this system had failed.
