Spotted this and thought it might be interesting, but the guy is being really dodgy!

Can come see the car as I live in Castletown?

He replied

Its on the isle of man

I replied

yes so am I, can I come see it this weekend before the auction ends

he replied

it has no passenger door lock, car is on isle of man and is sorn so cannot be test driven sorry




Well, none of this is mentioned in the auction, its pretty evident that he doenst want me to see the car, he doesnt know where Castletown is, and most worrying is that on the isle of man, you cant declare a car SORN

With 0 feedback, I would be worried as well!

Bid for it though. You have nothing to loose. You can say that you will pay by cash on collection, and go see the car. If it's not as described in the listing, then you have all the reason not to hand over any cash and give bad feedback.

Treat with much caution though.

but funny he isnt letting anyone local view the car

some poor sod will have to fly/sail over to see if its pukker or not.

maybe hes hoping that once there here they wont go away empty handed even if its not up to scratch?
