Hi people

I have a 6 point cage here with door bars not sure on what make it is but looks like a SD cage (The old own repainted it) I tried today to fit the rear part of the cage but could not get it in for love or money i was able to get it in the car but not to the rear. I took the front seats out so i had more space and even the front screen and it would still not go in, It kept getting trapped by the B pillar or rear pockets depending on what angled i tried, has any one got any ideas how to fit it or pic's of there's fitted or could it be the rear pockets have to be cut out ?

Thanks Billy

I have a safety devices one. It was a right pain in the arse to fit. It had to be compressd to get it passed the pillers. then pushed apart to bolt to the arches.

There was plenty of blood spilled and much cursing. I also fitted it with the rear bins still in, just to add a little bit more complication.

Best to have no interior or doors when fitting.

Yep been there, complete nightmare with the rear pockets in. i had no ratchet strap and a rear diagonal but did manage to get it in, although my mates hand did suffer lol. Dependant on what you use the car for id suggest removing the rear pockets, i did this and now the cage goes in and out easy peasy.

yep, use a ratchet strap to pull the legs in together, only slightly though! and i think i used a porta-power to push the legs back out a little once it was in place, and i left it in place overnight.

i used to strong rope looped around the legs and a breaker bar to tourniquet the legs together, was a little scary when fully wound up!
