how do these on line firms work ,
parcels to go and such like.

any recomendations,

type in the details of your parcel (give or TAKE ) and then type in the collection details and then delivery details. they will search through the companies and get you the cheapest and then arrange for it to be collected and delivered. i arranged one at 8:00 one evening and the collected it the next day. was very impressed. there is apparently someone cheaper than Parcel2Go but i always forget and i havent used them yet.

EDIT: not sure what thier prices are like with international though as i havent used them for it....

I used Parcel2Go to ship something to Canada a few weeks ago. Basically you Buy it Now and send them all the details they ask for, they then e mail you back all the shipping docs and commercial invoices etc. Print them out & sign them and attach them to your parcel, then just wait for the door bell to ring. DHL collected my parcel and it cost about half the price of going to DHL directly.

interparcel.com also very good - once you tell them the details they give you a choice of carriers and services. If you register then there is also a 5% discount.

Just using to Parcel2go to pick up a Gearbox from Bournemouth, ill let you know how i get on.

I've just tried Interparcel to ship a package to USA, couldn't have been easier and cheap too. You can print the shipping docs as soon as you've ordered and can even specify a collection time.
