nice one thanks, forgot to tell you all abit about my car! (sorry), well, have a 1979 mini 1000, well rotten, have owned it for just over 1 month, ebay find! havent touched it yet as im sourcing parts! i have the turbo engine/box, driveshafts and looms off a reno 5 gt turbo! off my cousin, also have a 2 piece fibreglass clubman front end, another ebay find! so will keep you all informed on how it is going! YOU CANT POLISH A TURD, BUT, YOU CAN ROLL IT IN GLITTER!!!! |

are you putting the whole r5 engine in the mini, or have i misunderstood?

thanx for making me welcome! i will be fitting all of the reno turbo gear into the mini, its going to be tight, but i like a challenge!! firstly though, i need to mot/paint my motorbike, so i can sell it, to fund this! YOU CANT POLISH A TURD, BUT, YOU CAN ROLL IT IN GLITTER!!!! |

cheers, yeah i know thats one of the reasons, other other is i only payed £120 for engine(with turbo tecknics stage one turbo) new pistons/liners grp A headgasket/head bolts, big valve head, intercooler, boost pipes/dump valve, full stainless scorpion exhaust etc... got loads! my cousin is a top bloke!! YOU CANT POLISH A TURD, BUT, YOU CAN ROLL IT IN GLITTER!!!! |
